OUR HISTORY

The Cleaning Co-operative was founded by Sarah Brosseau. After a couple years working for another local cleaning service as both a Cleaner and Service Manager, an opportunity arose to purchase their residential division. Sarah was excited for the opportunity to grow upon her experience, and was inspired to create a service with a new concept. Recognizing that there were many individuals providing services as independent businesses, but without the back up of a team for things like time off or assistance on larger jobs. Sarah had the innovative idea to create a business model that allowed these entrepreneurs to have their independence but with the benefits of a team environment. In early 2014 The Cleaning Co-operative was born, merging the client base from the newly purchased residential division as well as 2 cleaners that Sarah mentored into their own businesses. The Cleaning Co-op now has 4 business owners on their team and is continuing to bring on more energetic entrepreneurs and increasing their ability to provide a wider array of services.
